Grealish, shows the ball to the defender who knows what’s coming, then he passes back into midfield, useless

He’s a CB mate and Pep ‘I know best’ no matter what , CONSTANTLY plays him as one of the worst LBs in the premier league on a weekly basis .

As for Kovacic - PMSL , another stupid signing .

I no longer get excited when he has the ball on the left hand side - it’s deja vu every time .

Kovacic is a reasonable player but he is prone to losing the ball in tight situations. Painfully obvious when you compare him with Bernardo

Wilder will be happy with that, he knows they will get one off either a fuck up and/or a pigmol pen in the 120th minute

‘Reasonable’ should not get you on the pay roll at a club like City .

Kovacic is a squad thickener. He wasn’t bought as a starter.

Akanji has been decent today.

Overall a decent performance without reaching top gear. We are missing four of our best players,

We need Bobb and Doku on the wings, players that actually take on the fullbacks. I know Grealish and Silva are good but not out wide, or at least not both together.

Good first half generally but too much of our play is missing the obvious between the lines pass through the middle to Phil or Julian. Grealish and Bernardo doing well pushing the defence back but when the chance to play through centrally comes, we brick it. I can't really figure out why other than fear of losing possession.

Big shout to akanji though, that first half he actually looked solid as fuck. Not something you often feel about him.

I also think we should never play walker against these. Every time we play them, he starts thinking he's Socrates and tries 25 yarders.

We need to up the tempo a bit second half.Move the Ball quicker from back to front.

Game has that " We only needed to turn up" vibe about it from the Team..

On another day they could have been Level from once chance despite being outplayed for 99% of the game..Our defense has been appalling this season. They all go missing at key moments every game.Walker thinks he is Maldini..No idea what Gvardiol role is.

As calm as Akanji has looked, so far, you just know there is something afoot. I don't trust him.

we need to put ball into the area a lot quicker, showed a state that we had nearly 400 passes, didnt say 300 passes going from side to side or backwards

Can we end it soon as the second half starts? I am having nightmares with our display after we are one up this season.

We say that mate but with him at cb we beat Leipzig 7 nil

Gvardiol, Kovacic Grealish shocking. We are allowed the subs these days replace all 3.

It's not like the days we were stuck with a hungover Mike Summerbee all match

I was watching The Godfather the other night, there is a scene where a waist coat with a fish inside is delivered to the Corleaone. “Luca Brazzi sleeps with the fishes” Clemenza says. I know when that scene is coming because it is famous. Likewise the inevitable equaliser will come today unless Pep changes players/tactics. We have had 82% possession with two shots on target.
