I'm no fan of Akanji but Pep clearly thinks he can step out into midfield with the ball. If Dias was fit last night then Akanji would not have started. Left back continues to be the issue wirh Pep using first Ake and then Josko there. Have said this before, play Josko at cb and leave him there. He seems to have a decent left foot on him and is not afraid to shoot when he finds himself up the pitch.
Nunes is nowhere near up to speed with our game. He has not shown a first touch capable of our level yet but I'm not writing him off. That said, neither Nunes nor Kova start when ginger bollocks returns. Foden needs to stay in the middle the boy is a joy to watch and we forget that all his best years are ahead of him!
