Kovacic couldn’t start for Chelsea. Nunes had one decent game against the rags but even Wolves fans were happy to see him leave. We panic bought him 100%
Letting seasoned pros leave like Mahrez, Gundo, Laporte and bringing in players that aren’t fit to lick dog shit off their boots has been our downfall.

This will be our most important Jan window in years.
Of course going to be very hard to strengthen significantly then. But we will need to try. Because all I see is pure mediocrity.

I am prepare to bet we are not getting anyone.
I can’t remember our last winter transfer. Was it Laporte in 2018? Anyone else came in January since?

We bought 2 central midfielders and play a centre half and right back ahead of them there

This. I reckon we paid over double what we should have, and we're either going to take a massive hit on his transfer fee or he'll be off to Saudi in a year or so. He's at a similar level to Gomez - fine to play in dead rubbers and easy cup draws, but should only be brought on as a sub when we're 3+ goals up and there are no youths on the bench that are worth giving minutes to.

We should have waited for him and not panic bought that useless glove wearing fanny.
I'm still at a loss why we paid 80 million for Gvardiol......he has been a worse liability than Gomez .

No improvement whatsoever on Laporte

Josko is being played out of position and it’s not working. But Pep is so pig headed he refuses to move from Plan A

Exactly.
He was the most wanted CB for a reason. Because he was a CB.

Pep managed to make Akanji look a better defender. That takes some doing, to turn raw talent into medicore.
That sums up our defence. Tinkering, playing players out of positions and out of form.
I'm guessing he's trying new formulas and hoping one of them will click like last season just like with Stones.
We need to go back to basics and steady the ship,

Given how the summer signings aren't working, do we recall Cancelo?
I think not, I think he burned his bridge with Pep, but in midfield he was better than what we have on the bench currently

REALLY WANK.
Not fit for purpose. Pep dosent trust them, hence why he had them on the Bench for so long last night when we needed Midfielders. Brings them on an immediately we are 1-0 down..
Nunes is fucking horrible. He also gives the impression of being a Whiney twat with his face like a smacker arse.I bet Wolves were happy to get him out of the dressing room..

I don't understand why we forced Laporte out and replaced him with Gvardiol. I understand about him playing at left-back when predominantly he is a centre-half but he is shocking. Pep stated a couple of weeks back that he would try him in the John Stones hybrid defender/midfielder role but he basically lacks the football intelligence to do so.
Why play him in a role that is alien to him and is clearly detrimental to the team?
