Don't think we'll see much of Lewis in defence..he's just going to be too good a midfielder.

Totally agree.

Re pep and the whole season... it's a tapestry. Long may it continue

Pep has to find a different position for Jack.
He'll never be a winger, hasn't got any of the skills needed for the position,
He constantly goes inside to the point the opposing defender just has to wait for him to do it, then if he hasn't lost it he passes inside and back.

As soon as foden went central, because of doku really, he was sensational

Doku was dragging two defenders with him everytime he had the ball.

Thing is it’s so obvious, one or two of the guys on here have been saying the same for ages.

We're fine up front, the defence needs sorting more than anything else.

Lewis has one of the best eyes for a pass in the prem....that pass he made was so KDB ish and ,as some have said , hes not a defender at all but belongs elsewhere.

Which is our best CB pairing now? Stones and Ake? Haven’t played much together at all. I hope to god Stones at least gets minutes against Spurs. Of course I understand why Pep treats Stones like a China doll. Terrified of losing him for another 6 weeks. We need to be solid on the flanks against Spurs. It’s their strong point.

Where in SheBlue’s post did they say “Lewis was the difference”?

Can you two read? Posters don’t praise players and JC has a meltdown. Poster praises a player and JC tries to correct them. Brilliant.

As poor as Foden was in the first half he was excellent in the second half playing inside Doku. Gvardiol linked up well with Doku too.

Dias sold himself for the second goal but why was he isolated on the wing against a player much quicker than him? Where the fuck was Walker?

Lewis could do that Rodri role if/when he needs a rest. Probably the best option we have as a backup for Rodri.

I am starting to believe this also.
He is a little bulldog, he needs to learn a bit how to keep his head and ball there and he will be fantastic.

Great kid, I not 100% he will make it, but he has the heart to do it and the perfect manager to help him.
Fingers crossed.

Only just 19 as well last week. His little jump just before Alvarez put it in the net made me smile

Haarland is scoring goals in spite of Doku and not because of him.

I think , once Doku learns the team ethic he will be getting many assists and goals .

It is almost as if he is trying too hard to impress. However, it is the end for jack in his current role. Jack is not a winger.
