My weekend will be ruined if we don't beat these murdering cnuts.

They are already bleating about the officials....

Chris Kavanagh as ref and Atwell on VAR.

Here is hoping we've got Johnny, Johnny stones back and that all the others that were "injured" inc Erling are all back fighting fit and not patched up.

Their away form is shit, we've scored 3 goals or more in our last 5 games.

C'MON CITY

I've a bad feeling they will do us, and inflict some injuries. Klopp will gloat and goad.

These will be our closest rivals this season despite what the press will tell us about arsenal. They are beyond shite at the back and if Stones is fit, we will outscore them

They might not be the best at the back but our defensive display at Chelsea was under 9s level. Hoping that was a once off and normal service will resume.

Pep tight lipped about injuries. Training this afternoon and after that he’ll know who he has available for tomorrow. Refuses to comment on the Everton situation which is correct.

He did say Haaland has trained with some niggles. Sounded positive about him. Training today will decide.

If Haaland and Rodri can play for their countries injured then they can play for the team that actually pays them

We defend from the front. Rhys James ran riot last game and that was in no small part down to Doku- yes he's electrifying and exciting and takes them on all the time but against the better teams you have to track back as well. If Rhys James can do that, imagine what Salah can do. That's why Jack has to start in my opinion. He was MOTM against them last time round and at 0-1 he tracked back from our corner when it looked odds on them going 2 up.
i think there's a lot to be said for Jack on the left and Doku right tomorrow against the Robertson stand in. Foden, Bernie and Rodders in midfield. Tough on Alvarez but he's been off the last few games and he'll have had the longest, latest trip back.

Don't mind if the viking is out. We crucified them in April with Julian as a false nine.

Just reading they got given reduced ticket allocation of 2400 tickets last season but doesn't how many less this year and apparently their club have written to them warning them no to taking missiles after what happened to that girl last year.

Home fans have been warned no tragedy chanting or you get a ban.

This is all I could find about dippers allocation, in the MailOnline - :

Liverpool's allocation was cut for last season's match at the Etihad from 3,000 to 2,400. This time, there has again been a reduction, but to a lesser extent. The original move was made in the wake of a number of incidents of trouble which included a 15-year-old girl being left 'scarred for life', when she was struck by a pot filled with coins that had been hurled from the visitors' section at a December Carabao Cup clash.

I'd so love this to be 100% right.

I'd take a 1-0 win now, though, if it was on offer...
