For breaching FFP, that's a lot lighter deduction than expected.
Luton out of botttom 3 as a result

Rather surprised at 10 points
But they have blatantly lost far more than the £105m permitted over 3 years

How much credence do we lend to the impied notion that this is is a harbinger for harsher penalties for us?

I thought the same thing,
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

I read that Leeds Burnley and someone else were also looking to privately sue over this due to their own relegations - may be hard to prove, but they must have a case - as long as their own books are in order. Could be fun but I'd doubt they would be guven any encouragement

Personally I just wish they'd fuck off and leave everybody alone.

Assuming you mean the PL? Not going to happen when they are being held to ransom by the yank-led cartel and need to protect the 'brand'.I see Carragher has stuck his neck out. Let's see if their cross-city neighbours come out in sympathy - i fucking doubt it. Shame it is this season as they won't struggle to get back above the bottom three

I hope they're above it next game personally as it means they'll have beaten the rags.

Personally I think this is wrong. I am not a fan of FFP and I do have sympathy for them.
Its over 50 years or more since professional football was a sport, calling it sport is nonsense in this day and age. It is a business and big business as well. Anyone should be allowed to invest in their business any way they see fit. Whether they sink or swim is up to them.

Nope. If clubs were fan owned then yeah, I get it. But why should a team like Bury not exist for a few years because of the owner? It’s not the fans fault.
Look at Sheff Wed now. That owner has said he’s not putting anymore money into the club. What if he doesn’t invest a penny and they go under. It’s not him that suffers, it’s the fans.

It’s all happened very quickly. Didn’t they even try and defend themselves?

I thought the same thing,
Its all SM has said since it was announced about Everton breaking the rules. The logic to most simpletons is that we should get a massive deduction because we have 115 breaches. Most assume the breaches are proven, most want them to be proven, most just want to see us found guilty, most think we bought our trophies, .most think it is unfair for us to have money behind us. Most conveniently ignore Utd's debt, Luverpool spending, dodgy transfer valuations and cyber theft from City and most fans of our rivals are behaving like cunts. This hate has been building for a decade. Every social media teaser headline concerning City is a negative , every teaser for Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal are positive. Its as if we were Israel

I see Everton are appealing more for the penalty than the principle it seems. Hoping for a fine rather than a points deduction. They were charged in March. We were charged in June but the issues are much more complicated so you can’t just add on a few more months to come up with a decision by the Commission over the City case.
I notice a so called legal expert on Sky smugly assumed City will be found guilty and get a harsher penalty. The Sky presenter had to interject that we denied any wrong doing.

We were charged in Feb this year and it was the catalyst for our run that ended with the treble.
