Quickly on Erling, a rise in stories of Madrid activating this fake clause that went away when Pep signed a new deal…

Erling Haaland's agent insists rivals 'know nothing' about the Man City star's contract amid release clause reports... insisting the forward will do what is 'good for him and his club'

Good on her!

He came on at half time and finished the match. Make of that what you will.

Oscar Bobb scored, btw. Good for him.

Sky say

Erling Haaland has pulled out of the Norway squad to face Scotland in Sunday's Euro 2024 qualifier due to an ankle injury.

They’ve said they’re not risking him but he’s travelling with them to Scotland. Doesn't sound like anything serious if he’s not been sent back and they’re probably not risking him because they can’t qualify. MEN looks like the best source for this with direct quotes from the Norway staff

his movement last night was unbelievable
also his general involvement in play was far higher than usual - dropping deep to close down and also to receive the ball.
he was unreal and could easily have had 7 but we all know that no one has ever scored 7 in a game.

I'll pay the taxi fee to the airport.
79 goals in 83 games, awful.

His second last night was my favourite. His lay off to kev, then just turn and run. Ball played through by Kevin and erling didn't look around once. Didn't check to see where the ball was, just fucking bolted knowing it would turn up somewhere. Pure elite goalscoring footballing, that. Anybody else is turning their head to see if the pass is coming or where the pass is. That big cunt just fucking knew. Elite.

Got his smile back last night. Hopefully, he has his mojo back. Thought his movement and the service to him was very good. Luton's tactics played to his strengths but it shows Pep and the team how we get the best from him. Perhaps might consider a different style against teams that just put 10 behind the ball and defend. To be fair to Luton, they wanted to play but got burned for it.

We will get to see on Sunday as the red shite will look to sit back and it will be interesting to see if we counter it by winning the ball back and pinging Haaland and Foden early

Barcelona press seem to think they are buying him. Seeing they haven't got a pot to pee in.

You couldn't make it up
