Win tonight and we qualify with two games to spare

Can't see Haaland featuring and it would be foolhardy if he did. We beat them convincingly at their place last time out and tonight should be no exception.

3-0 with Alvarez, Doku and Grealish to score. Probably by half time. And the second half will be a stroll to conserve energy for Sunday

Agreed, except they are bound to sneak one. Seems the way of things at the moment

Tonight's team!

XI | Ederson, Akanji, Stones, Dias (C), Gvardiol, Kovacic, Lewis, Nunes, Foden, Grealish, Haaland

SUBS | Ortega Moreno, Carson, Walker, Phillips, Ake, Doku, Rodrigo, Alvarez, Bernardo, Bobb

#ManCity | #UCL

Erm ok, Akanji right back and Lewis MF.

Nunes needs to step up

I'd say Stones in the Rodri position, Lewis at rb.

But who knows?

I thought Haaland would have been rested given he was injured on Saturday.

Haaland? No Rodri?

Just shows you can never second guess Pep. Come on City

I’d agree with that

I’m very surprised

Plus Chelsea now know he’s fit. Had he sat this out they would have been second guessing this week

Not inconceivable but was just going off how they are listed RB normally first listed after GK, i guess we'll find out in 60 mins.

In the away leg we played a back 3 and Lewis in MF alongside Rodri, looking back at the line up.

Paolo Akanji Maldini has to start every game. I wouldn't mind him starting tonight, you can bet he'll start against Chelsea

Silly having Haaland start. I expect Bobb to have at least 30 minutes, and would like to see him with Alvarez a bit.

City have literally a cheat code middle of Rodri, KDB and Bernardo, plus an elite defence of Ederson, Walker, Stones, Dias and Gvardiol.

Tonight, none of the cheat codes play, KDB obviously not. Lewis is a delight, the other 2? Nope. Sorry, but I'm not in on these 2. I'd love to be wrong, but the pathetic ambling I see from Nunes in his brief spells, for example, is unacceptable.

Playing Haaland is about as dumb a decision as you can make IMO - if he gets injured then it’s all on Pep !

Nunes better start fuxkign playing as ,up to now ,he’s been utter shite and he’s a lazy bastard !… not impressed with him at all .

"Today we decide with John", says Pep

Could be 3 at the back I suppose
