Akanji's first ever PL goal: scored with his arse.

Daft question this but do you reckon big Erl is lacking in self belief/confidence right now? A few times over the past couple of months he's been presented with chances to smash a shot off first time. Last season he would have. This year he seems to be taking an unnecessary extra touch to set himself.

Just what the doctor ordered. A nice lead and we can just stroke it around second half and not use too much energy before the CL tie next week

Very, VERY pleased thus far with this game and to follow from the last.

Doku woof. Only the sky the limit for this lad. He, like Haaland, really seems to have great attitude that gives me a real sense he has a better chance to fulfill it compared to others.

Bernardo bossing it, Rodri too. Surprise, we also have Stones, and Akanj looking much better.

Need to concentrate and not treat it like we’ve already won.

Hope Erling injury isn’t too bad. Just a precaution?

Off the beeb : -

Erling Haaland is injured
Man City 3-0 Bournemouth

Simon Stone
BBC Sport at the Etihad Stadium
Just before the half-time whistle blew, Erling Haaland didn't make a move towards a low cross into the Bournemouth box.

He didn't appear to be moving quite right and when the whistle finally went he flexed his leg a couple of times as he was speaking to Julian Alvarez.

There was clearly an issue. Pep Guardiola will hope it is not serious.
