Not very good, barely passable in fact - Rico/Kova/Bernie blend really poor.

It is nice to see a City player putting it about for a change. He does need to get off though - get Super Jack in the middle. Only way we win this game

An experiment gone wrong I’d suggest

Surely one of Jackie or Doku comes on for Kovacic at HT
This 100%

No way Kovacic finishes this game.

Was lucky the yellow wasn't reversed.

That stupid tackle on Rice, he is an accident waiting to happen, and could cost us the game.

Mostly likely Oliver will see that again and Kovacic will be targeted.
It would be a colossal fuck up to restart the game with him still playing.

Trouble is, if Pep pulls Kova, he'll probably put Phillips on.

True!

Doku for Kovacic and put Foden central or Nunes straight swap with Kovacic. I'd probably prefer Doku.

Nunes could replace Kovacic. I agree not Phillips. The trouble is even Kovacic must realise by now he’s at huge danger of being sent off so he may go to the opposite extreme and be frightened of going in for a tackle.

We're very narrow today but I'm assuming it's to compensate for Rodri not playing.

Against Newcastle and Wolves we were very open in the middle at times so I guess Pep is trying to avoid that today by packing the centre of the pitch.

Kovacic will almost certainly have to come off now. He will be sent off if he touches an Arsenal player even slightly in the second half.

This off the beeb, never thought we be called toothless : -

Alan: Such an opportunity for Arsenal to win this game but not sure they are ruthless enough to take that chance. City have a toothless attack and they are not pressing Arsenal at all. Poor game.

Nuts from Pep to leave Kova on. Guarantee he'll get a 2nd yellow.
