Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Normally I wouldn’t be too excited either way about an early group stage fixture in the CL. But after two losses on the spin and an important PL game at the Arsenal looming at the weekend, this is a good time to put in a good performance and get back to winning ways
Though these are a half decent outfit and will have a vociferous crowd behind them so it won’t be an easy game at all. And as it goes, a draw wouldn’t be a bad result, though I think we will just shade it
2-1
Bernie and Dias to score

We don't win here do we? Although I think one at least was a dead rubber

Win the home games and one away and it's guaranteed qualification which is the goal when all is said and done.
So a draw here is still perfectly acceptable in terms of qualification. And even a loss doesn't scupper it, though three losses on the spin going into the Arsenal game is far from ideal

The aim is to win the Group hoping for a slightly easier draw for the last 16. A draw here would be ok assuming we stuff them at home but a win would be a good boost before the Arsenal match.

Well lets hope Gvardivol has given Pep a debrief of their squad....
He needs to start tonight, Rodri and Bernardo back to settle the squad.
I've gone 1-1 on my predictions based on last yesrs result but actually i now feel we will win.
Wolves was a wobble, a concoction of multiple factors. Newcastle was always a non priority in the grand scheme, Pep even said it out loud.
Tonight is about no injuries for me. A win will obviously boost moral ahead of Sunday.

Happy enough with the XI. And nice to see a strong bench

Not sure whether Akanji playing LB or Lewis.

I've a bad feeling that we will lose tonight and against Arsenal.

A tricky and important game, don't want to go into the arsenal game with 3 defeats on the bounce.
Looks like Rico in midfield.
