He’s the reason I support City since I was 4 years old. Great player, will be sadly missed

Indeed, I have a lump in my throat every time I think about it.

So sad.
An absolute legend and one of the first City players I've ever heard of.

Rip.

This is really really sad news

I was always Frannie Lee when playing kick-about in the park

A terrific player pushed out of City too soon. Summerbee left of the golden trio.

Went to his house in Styal once collecting for the cricket club charity auction - zilch - not even a toilet roll cosy :( Seriously, his rift with King Colin and time as Chairman with Alan Ball in tow negatively coloured many people's view of him. Great player for us though as a key part of the 68 Champions team.

Or in my case pre-teen. Just :D

Great player and in truth one of our few legends in my lifetime prior to the Agüero moment.

RIP
