it was the doyen of ex Hammers Tony Gale, as laughably & ignorantly biased as they get. A neanderthal centre half with 300 games for West Ham winning absolutely nothing - made a broadcasting career out of sheer srupidity.

Based on today's performance , Id have Doku ahead of Grealish every single time. All jack does is hold the ball up and rarely , if ever , threatens to score.

Doku is so f’n exciting. Love to watch him play already.

Gvadiol is getting more comfy each game.

Alvarez is stepping up.

Foden the odd man out today, couldn’t get anything going. Hoping it’s just hangover from the England shit show.

They set up to strangle the middle, no space there for Phil to turn but it left Doku one on one.

Won't hear a bad word against grealish. Different player to Doku. Different approaches. I'm excited to see them both vary our play.

I'm keen on Jack too, but not as a winger. I think he's much more effective in the middle. Not sure how long he's out for, but with Gundo gone and KDB out long term, I'm sure when he returns it'll be in a more central role

I do wish "We" would not pidgeon hole players. Jack worked on the left last season, He can play in the middle, so too Foden. Bernie plays all over the pitch. If you want to see a team that plays the way Cruyff's Dutch team played. Then this is it. Put bernie up front, no problem, Erling gets back on Corners.

Tin tin is recovering, players have stepped up in his absence,so much so that he is hardly missed. At one time yesterday for about 15 minutes the hammers had all 10 outfield players around the D of the penalty area . How on earth do you break through that ? .

Doku has the speed of Sterling , but also has the control of the ball to go with it.
So many tiny ,tiny errors yesterday .
Any other day and Erling would have had four or five.
Inspite of Moyes's dour park the Bus tactics, As Kris Kristofferson sang , "One Game at a time " :-)

Since i reference an old song here. Just wondering of FawsTen Rag is now singing "Three wheels on my wagon" ?

100% agree with this.

I feel he is wasted out wide. He is not a natural winger.

Would love to see him in a more central role. His quality is holding on to the Ball inviting fouls. I thought we bought him for the same role he had at Villa. Driving at the Box from a central position inviting fouls galore for set piece specialists and penalties.

Doku redeemed himself on Saturday has to be said, exciting looking payer. Unlike Jack he is a natural winger.

With KDB out for 4 months would love to see Jack given a more central role alternating with Phil.

Assuming full fitness & form for me Jack is always a starter on the left in our best team together with KDB plus one of Alvarez, Phil or Doku. Bernie & Rodri are also automatic first choices alongside Erling, Dias, Walker, Stones & Eddie. Then just add one of Josko/Ake/Akanji - picking City is easy with Kova/Nunes/Lewis etc in reserve

Jack still developing Doku running from a central role in the future could be brilliant. I’ve always seen wingers as hot and cold. Exciting times
