Another pot on the sideboard after the midweek exploits and now back to the bread and butter of the PL

If we thought Burnley away last week was a tough test then I think this will be at least on a par with that. Newcastle are a very good side and looked decent against Villa last week. They have bought well this window and in Isak have a very competent striker who we will need to be very wary of

However we are the home side and we have won the 16 meetings at our place so I think we will prevail, just.

1-0 Gvardiol

Hope the starting XI is on it because there’s not much to come off the bench. Bit nervous about this one

Can't even begin to think when we had such lean bench.

I’ll be delighted with any win however scruffy. This is a big test courtesy the Premier League plus some injuries.

Those kids should be chomping at the bit to get on tonight and prove their worth. Tone to see of the academy really is more than a revenue making scheme.

Plus I'd be less nervous seeing Bobb or Perrone come on over Phillips.

I like Bobb. Decent player and reminds me of Blackadder every time I hear his name

Got a feeling we are going to lose this game against a fresh Newcastle

Thought the Lads looked fucked on Wednesday. I see a combination of 72 hours since the last game injuries/fatigue/ Travel Jet Lag working against us. Hope i am wrong obviously.

I will be absolutely delighted with any kind of win tonight.

A draw wouldn't be a bad result, but that team is capable of winning.

Amazed Akanji keeps his place after his disaster on Wednesday.

Ake was our only good defender then. Would much prefer he was starting.
