According to this Belgian journalist the result of Kevin’s scan on his hamstring was serious enough for the Club to suggest surgery to prevent a recurrence. That would mean him out for the rest of the year.

More like Phil, I would have thought.

Yep. Bern tends to play better and step up when Kev is out though.

With Mahrez sold and Phil playing between the lines will Palmer be kept or will the need for a right sided forward mean a player coming in? Pep didn’t rule out someone coming in. Said he’d talk to Txiki.

The sort of injury to the best player which could be the difference between first and second

Hoping Foden steps up to the plate and Bernie too

Bit dumb to announce it soon while we're still negotiating with West Ham, we're getting milked whomever we go for

Rumours that it’s already agreed with West Ham, we’re just waiting for them to find a replacement

In the xlub we trust. But are paqueta and doku really the best we can get? And how the fuck is paqueta 80 mill based on 6 months at West ham?

I swear rodri must be 300 mill. Dias and kev similar. Meanwhile mahrez and laporte go for a curly wurley

Maybe this rumoured window-smashing 'massive' deal is Vinicius Junior & Valverde to fund Mbappe to RM.

Vinicius J would be a half-decent replacement for Mahrez

Couldn’t see Madrid letting Vinicius go whereas they have a lot of midfielders

But he is a great player as well

At 32, has age finally caught up with him? If so, should we sign his replacement now, assuming we have a target, whatever the cost and let him go to Saudi next summer?

Or is this injury just unlucky and once over it be a 45-50 game a season player again

Life moves on. Our Kev is a bit of an enigma. For all his brilliance I bet he gives the ball away more than anyone. Always looking for THAT ball.

Should have had the op in the summer . Now it will be a more difficult recovery for him and at his age, he won't be sprintinting again. Probably seen the best of him which is a shame but it opens doors for others, so quite exciting to see how Pep covers his loss.
