That's some outrageous whataboutary. It's obviously horrible what happened to e.g. Mendy and Chef Evens, but it has little to do with this. To be honest, I'd be quite upset if my (female) boss kissed me on the lips as well. Especially uninvited, in public and on camera...

A kiss, that was absolutely ridiculous and not needed, but compared with tons of male footballers over the years that have been targeted by females is worth comparing.

The truth is this woman has retired now after fuckin up her countries chances at a WC and is so desperate to still be in the limelight she’s weighing in on things that are absolutely nothing to do with her.

What have children with cancer got to do with comparing the way women and men are treated in football. That was the whole point of her comment. Women are targeted by men that weirdly want to kiss them, for whatever stupid reasons, in front of everyone. Male footballers have been targeted by women for years and falsely accused of all sorts, including rape.

She needs to focus on the incident itself and stop comparing to men.
