Let's defend the PL for four in a row - that's another one never been done and go all out to defend chumps league at Wembley Pep can ride off into the sunset after that.
As to who is next, how to follow Pep? Me, I'd take Ancelotti, getting on a bit and we'd be looking to replace him after a couple of years by which point, Vinnie will have had a good 5-6 years managing in England?

I am still not 100% he is going.

He is a madman, but where can he go? And Khaldoon is no mug either, he is already thinking how to keep him. Was looking at the celebrations just now and he was almost non stop next to Pep.
There is no football team in the world that can offer him what we can, both on and off the pitch, the stability, the free will of do what he wants, in his way.

I am ok for him to stay 10 more years and then he can go. :D

This is something that is going to have to be handled very very carefully. The second a manger says he is going his team can fall off a cliff.
Happened last time.

Whoever is going to take over ideally needs a year under Pep before going into his role.

He's saying a shout for manager?

Kev isn't even captain material, let alone a manager.

Said it before, I'll be devastated when he goes.

I thunk he's the greatest signing we we ever made. We'll move on of course, but in the same trajectory? Doubt it

Kompany would be wary about to “doing a Lampard” and wrecking his reputation plus he has to show he can cut it not just survive in the Prem. If De Zerbi keeps performing you’d have to say he would be in with a shout in 2-3 years time. However, unless Pep wins a Treble Treble I think he’ll be here at bit longer yet…

Serious question: Where would Pep actually go? Do Italian teams have enough money to pay him? Would PSG feel the right 'fit' for him (and will they still be throwing cash left, right and centre by then)? Has he left enough feathers unruffled in Spain following his vociferousness on Catalan independence to manage the national team?

I think he's on record as having said he'd take a break after leaving us, but I can't see a strong contender for him returning to management with the current footballing landscape.

I think he’ll go straight into international management. It’s basically a holiday.

I'd be inclined to agree, but which country? I think he'll be considered persona non grata by Spain, while Germany and Italy won't take a foreign manager (possibly also Brazil and Argentina). Maybe Mexico or USA for 2026, or one of the Arab states.

Of course, England probably isn't off the table if the FA can find a way to squeeze in a few more matches at Wembley throughout the season to fill their coffers...

I reckon if Saudi offered £500m, he'd consider it.

I think any country in the world would stop their xenophobia for Pep.

It’s just whether he’d have enough time with the players between league commitments to get his philosophy and way of playing taught to them.

Likewise, but Saudi have historically gone for B-list managers, because they prefer a foreign manager to be the scapegoat when they go out in the group stages, rather than 'their own' players - I doubt their FA could realistically pass the buck to Pep, even with their fans' fanaticism, so I don't see an offer like that appearing. I remember an article, probably around the time of the 2006 World Cup, which looked at qualified countries' fans' favourites to win the World Cup. There were only a few who near-unanimously picked their own country: realistic prospects (2 or 3 of Germany, France, Brazil, Argentina, Spain & Italy), and England and Saudi Arabia.

(I could've sworn Queiroz managed them at some point, but it turns out that was Iran)
