Apart from they've just had the first rain for a year.

Barcelona wins the pickpocketing stakes hands down though

That’s true currently. I was there 6 weeks ago
. Gundo is in for a shock the stadium he will playing in looked like it was in 80s Moscow. Abandoned and closer to being demolished than used.

Thanks for your services Ilkay, you never let us down and gave us some great memories. Poor decision going there from a lifestyle perspective, but that's your choice mate. My Mrs is Spanish and was robbed seven times whilst living there - just saying

Maybe with Gundo’s Turkish roots he’s going there to be the leader of the pickpockets?

Thanks for everything. Again, I won’t wish you luck because you’re going to Barca. Hope it ends horribly and they stop paying your wages and your Mrs has to actually get off her arse and get a job.

I had a little inward chortle at the sight of his missus strolling around the Istanbul pitch in a City shirt after she'd spent most of her time slagging Manchester off. Gundo was clearly as good as gone the moment she started on Manchester but it is a testament to his professionalism that he put the effort in and achieved everything that he did.

The man has done A LOT for this club, so thanks Ilkay. I will never forget how you made both the scousers and the munes cry.

Enjoy your retirement, pal.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

Great player, great attitude…..we will most certainly miss him on the pitch. I love the guy !!
I have a funny feeling he’s going to turn out to be a great coach….we may not have seen the last of him.
