I honestly expected much worse than these comments after this week. I believe Pep said the fight back starts on Sunday, so I guess we will know what his intentions are when the team comes out. The away fans mostly expect to get thrashed, as always. For this game I don’t just want a win by any means, I would love to see them make a statement.

COME ON CITY!!!

Referee: Robert Jones
Assistants: Lee Betts, Ian Hussin
Fourth official: Chris Kavanagh
VAR: Jarred Gillett
Assistant VAR: Eddie Smart

Team Selection

Emi
Young Konsa Mings Moreno
McGinn Luiz Kamara Ramsey
Buendia Watkins

And the rest…

They’ve got Arsenal three days later and then we have Arsenal too. I think we’ll win one of the two games.

We’re better away from home, we are also better without the ball than we are with it. We’ve got a grasp on playing the block and frustrating possession based teams Hopefully we can get a result.

3-1 loss, this will be a very boring game to watch as city will just keep recycling the ball until they seize an opportunity. Prove me wrong lads!

Bloodbath if city lose as they currently doing.

Oh great...angry city!

The absolute most forgettable fixture of the season. And it's on Sky too which means we have the insufferable promos showing us blowing a 0-2 lead last year. Grealish will probably score this time too. Classic. Haaland hat-trick incoming. And all the fake "nerves" from Pep before game will be evaporated after we roll over for a team in need again.

I am cautiously optimistic. They are far more vulnerable defensively than they used to be. We can hurt them but it's about taking our chances and cutting out the stupid errors like against Leicester.

This isn't the Man City of the past few years and after losing to Spurs as well as the off field stuff this week it could be argued this is a good time to play them but I'm expecting a comfortable 3-0 Haaland hat-trick this weekend.

What a day to be an away fan! Hope the songs do them justice.

It feels like all the media and basically the world are going to have eyes on this one. It’ll be really interesting to see how the Man City players react to a defeat last game and to the off field revelations?

Could someone pick up a couple of hundred of plain brown envelopes for the away end please?

Probably the biggest set of odious bellends around Villa fans.

Have we ever been accused of bribes? Or have I missed something? They just making it up like the thick inbred scruffy brummie twats they are.

Think we will put out a statement performance with a result to go with it. We will be chomping at the bit and can see a barnstorming game

It is probably a relevent time to remember the events of 1906 when Villa were a major force behind City last being investigated by the FA because the then football big boys didn't like that we were rich and becoming successful.
In 1904, City had won the FA Cup and were only 1pt away from being League Champions.

The events that followed led largely by Villa caused every member of the Cup winning team to be banned from City for life, along with the board and other City officials.
That too was a stitch up.

Take them apart and give us summat to laugh at

Back then the rags were a major beneficiary of that. And nearly a century later they would benefit again as it guarantees them top 4 if we are docked points

Given that it may take upto four years to resolve, we wont be having points docked this season , if at all .

Nah , that horse has bolted . It would appear the absolute absurdity and stupidity of what the PL management team have done is being realised . Of course the PL management team will have to resign and clubs like the Rags be fined for what they tried.

However , The realisation that American owners are plundering the PL , whereas the City owners are making strategic investments in and around Manchester. Is finally being brought to the table for discussion .

Villa fans showed their lack of class with their treatment of Jack today.

Hardly surprising. The way they treated Barry, another long servant to the club, when he went back was absolutely disgusting.

Horrible horrible bunch that think they’re a big club. Shitty no mark team that should be and would be in the Championship if it wasn’t for Jack.
