Perfect timing for us to be honest. I doubt we’ll join, but just adds that much more pressure to the Premier League.

Reading more into it, this wouldn’t replace the Premier League, it would replace the CL

If the PL continue this assault on us I think we should join esl and treat the PL as the least important trophy, below the league Cup, play the youngsters as much as possible in PL and tell the world the reason why.

A bit of topic, but anyone saw the Club World Cup that is on these days?

Have you seen they are testing a VAR version with live feed about the chat between the ref and the VAR Room? The chat will be heard both in the stadium and on tv.

Huge if so. Imagine that.
The Premier League will never go with that.

After the last debacle didn't the Premier league force the clubs to enter into an agreement where they were not even allowed talk about a super league. If they did they would be 'punished' like bold boys.
Or did I imagine that.

£300m fine. I’d imagine that it’s the type of contract that wouldn’t hold up in a court of law.

£25 million and a 30 point deduction according to this: https://www.skysports.com/football/news ... kaway-plot

The 30 point deduction is also laid out clearly in Rules L.9 - L.10 of the PL Handbook, which is a legally binding document, from what I understand (as it's the basis for the financial charges against us). The £25 million fine may also be somewhere in there, but I can't be bothered sifting through the whole document. Interestingly, clubs' representatives are allowed to discuss the idea, but not allowed to sign up to one or announce an intention to sign up to one.

I think the 300 million (euro) figure is what Perez claimed everyone (except Madrid and Juve) owed for backing out.

So the premier league could sign up for it, send its representatives and pocket its portion of the cash. Hmmm.

It is going to happen eventually.
