Injuries 21/22

Looks like Laporte & Stones are out for two weeks, meaning Chavs, PSG and Liverpool are games without them.
A critical point of the season & we are missing two huge players in games all away from home where there will be big pressure on our defense.

Laporte came back from internationals and played against Leicester, so that ones a bit weird.

Stones I think is a fuckin wanker. Injured but goes away with England and plays. Either you’re injured or you’re not mate. You’ve got your new contract now and it’s no coincidence he’s back to being constantly injured.

You can bet the media don’t make as much of it than they did with the dippers defence injuries

Stones playing for England was a disgraceful decision .

If he’s left on the bench for the rest of the season he only has himself to blame .

To be honest I don't care about the media, this is our own fuck-up. Huge games ahead.
Ake needs to be incredible and, as much as I like him, he isn't.

If we still had Otter this wouldn’t be a problem.

Thankfully we haven't
We wouldn't have Father Reuben otherwise

IF it comes to it, we should be putting a youngster in rather than trying to play a regular out of position . Yes, they are young and inexperienced at this level, but they know the position. Doubt Ake is in the right place at the moment for Saturday

Agree.
Mental, if you think we are about to face three of the best teams on the planet with two out of position defenders (the left back also).

I’d play Ake even if Stones was fit. He doesn’t deserve to start for putting England before City. I hope he doesn’t get back in the first team for a very long time.

I agree with your sentiments but Ake is not mentally ready to play. I've no idea how long Stones is out, I'd doubt that he would be back this weekend though otherwise he would have at least got minutes in the week - same with Laporte? Play a centre-back there if its a kid, so be it. Unfortunately, we will see a light bulb moment from Pep and it will be Fern again or Walker

Rodri Laporte and Stones all trained today. Doesn’t mean they’re fit for Saturday of course.

All 3 looked really happy which to me told a story, I'm hopeful one if not all three will be ready

Wouldn't be surprised to see Rodri and Laporte play.
All this bluff is part of peps 'big plan' to fool Tom T.
(It's bollocks Pep)
