MotM v Fulham

Postby Beefymcfc » Sat Dec 05, 2020 5:08 pm

Some really good play, especially in the first half, and for me we are looking like a team who are nearly back to their old ways of winning and controlling games. However, there seems to have been a shift from Pep who now seems to value control in our own third, ensuring players aren’t too gung-ho get the next goal. This allows the players to shine in all positions and gives me a good feeling going forward.
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".

Mahrez surely MOM. Created three great chances. How did he not get an assist?

Gundo. His sideways and back passes were world class.
One stage in the game he had 4 team mates ahead of him, did he buckle and play a simple attacking through ball, no it was a wonderfully sideways pass to a colleague 5 yards from him.
Sublime, makes us so so dangerous. So so happy.

Kev's been under par for a long while, but today he finally started to look his old self. Still a lot of mistakes and giving up possession too easily, but still some fantastic passes and through balls as well.

No apologies necessary, as far as I can tell. That's the greatest bit of sarcasm I've read in a long while!! Funny as....

I went for Kev, too. A goal, an assist, one tipped onto the bar and a few other chances created - not quite back to his best but still better than recently and better than all others on the park today.
