MotM v Burnley

Postby Beefymcfc » Sat Nov 28, 2020 4:35 pm

Still not finished but as all the subs have been made. I’m sure somebody will go for anybody than Mahrez so I’ve given 2 options for a player who has given as much but may not be recognised due to the hatrick.

Guy gets a hat trick, he has to get motm as well as the match ball

KDB ran the midfield and unlucky not to get on scoresheet
Stones and Dias looked solid as well.
Torres is maturing nicely as well. Made some intelligent runs and took his goal nicely

Mahrez smashed it, needs to do it on a more regular basis. Great to see Stones back in form. Our CB options and defence as whole now looks solid.

Mahrez as you can’t go past a hat trick.

That said I thought Stones was a close second and KDB class again.
Tracking back is overrated.

Well done to Mahrez on his hat trick and he deserves it.
Hopefully he gains confidence and consistency.

Big shout to Johnny Stones who had his best game for us in years.

I went for Stones. He was flawless against physically tough opposition.

Dias will make all his partners look good, Vinny did it for years.

Mahrez for the hat-trick, but more importantly the early goal that set us on our way.

Stones was magnificent too.

Couldn’t go for a defender as they had so little to do but he does get huge credit for the way he breaks things up and controls the line.
