TBH Stones is starting to look quite reassured and him and Diaz look good

Hope I don’t put the kiss of death on him

If Stones has sorted his life out off the pitch then he is good enough to rediscover his form on it. He was an absolute beast a couple of years ago and hopefully he can find that form again. Long long way to go to get there again, but he’s shown encouraging signs

Anyone got any idea why that was called off? Didn't look offside at all!

Torres knew nothing of it.

Or to show faith and belief and trying to man manage the situation.

Mahrez had a great season last year.

I'm not saying I would have started him over Foden either, but he's the boss and has some success in the game at what he does.

However, to suggest it cannot ALSO be about what you wrote is also naive as his City career is on the line.

That makes no sense. He’s showing “belief and faith” in Mahrez, but at the same time showing he has no belief or faith in Foden (who will be at the club longer than Mahrez hopefully).

Please stop making excuses. It’s embarrassing

Because he's been in the team and is far more experienced than Foden mate.

Showing faith in a younger player, even as good as Foden is, is a different thing.

Pep was behind signing Mahrez and we will need him if we want tor recover this season.

Excuses? Then why is Pep playing him? He's lost his mind....

Yet Mahrez scores 2.

Who's making "no sense."

It's never ONLY one way or the other. People come to views and beliefs based on multiple variables so whenever I read "It is this or it's illogical" it just makes me want to go mental.

Not convinced it came off Jesus’ head onto Torres at all

But no fucking way the linesman saw that in real time to raise his flag

Just lastly...does it make sense to seek to push through a difficult period and have faith in your players abilities to turn it around?

That's called MANAGEMENT. Curious if some have ever managed others with different personalities, etc. under pressure or in difficult circumstances.

Btw, I thought Mahrez should have been on the bench and Foden starting based on what we've seen, and was surprised when I saw the starting eleven, but we're not in the back room. I have no idea about a lot of aspects of players as a people, the team, etc.

We are really clueless and we have to concede that sometimes instead of asserting it can only be one way or you're a fool. That's TalkSport-like analysis which generally I am not so much a fan of, but I get and respect when fans are frustrated as well.
