The ref was more than happy to oblige but his overall display was horrible. Awful ref.

I’m sure I looked at Moss’ record with us and even though the sad sack is completely biased against us we have one of the best records with him in charge.

I think he gets called in when the oppo need a leg-up but, even with that, don’t stand a chance.

Enjoyed the game, might even flick MOTD on tonight to see them squirming.

Although I’d given up on ‘that’ moment as the minutes wasted away it could not be really understood how much Jesus’ goal really meant in the history of football until he actually put it over the keeper.

It was nearly a Sergio moment for me and actually twatted my head on the roof when he scored. Not for the first time!

They said he felt a "disturbance" in his knee.

Which sounds disturbing.

Good call to give him a rest and will probably get the same again midweek.

He is so important to this team. We need to be a little careful with him.
I though he should have came off yesterday at HT or instead of torres when he came off, just after he scored.

Great win and good to see the goals flowing again. Hopefully we can do it against decent teams going forward.

Think(?) Ake is still injured and he was resting Laporte due to the way the cbs played in greece which is fair enough. I thought Stones was finished, but IF Pep is to be believed and he has gotten his head down and sorted his shit out, then we have giod cover in defence at last

I have spent the last two days wondering what it was that Mahrez's third goal reminds me of. Just remembered it now. Hinchcliffe's fifth in the 5-1. KdB = Ian Bishop, Foden = White, Mahrez = Hinchcliffe. Fantastic.

Good spot TB, its the positioning of his arms and control of the header. Just missing him giving the five fingers to what was left in the platt lane as he runs away.
Funny to hear Hinchcliffe now - you'd never guess he'd spent so long with us

Hinchcliffe was a LOT further from goal, and dived full length to make contact with White's cross. His five finger gesture was to the Kippax.

Mad that Hinchcliffe at the end says coming back to Manchester and scoring that goals means more to him than anything else. He’s an absolute mutant now.
