Since the Lyon debacle things seem to have gone from bad to worse, gives ammunition to those who criticise pep by saying any manager can win what he has with the resources given to him

All said and done it is a sad PL when a totally fucking horrendous park the bus Maureen led Spurs are top of the league . VAR and this shit could well see countless fans turn their back on the game forever.

This is the most alarming for me. When we don't score first, we rarely, if ever win. All on Pep and his tactics. Makes me think whilst he may have signed the deal, ir must have a caveat to win the chumps league this year? The owners have got to be looking at this repeat and rewind performance and his inability to figure out a way around it whilst still setting us up the same and thinking - nah he's having our pants down.

Play exactly the same from minute one to minute ninety, irrespective of the score. Really slow build up passing sideways and backwards moving forward at a snails pace. As we do this our defence move more forward. The attack inevitably then breaks down and a long ball over the top is all the opposition need. We just haven’t got any players that will take the game by the scuff of the neck.
I can’t think of any one player at the moment who I want to get hold of the ball.
No plan B and it never matters who is on the bench because bringing them on with ten minutes to go changes fuck all.
So frustrating because it will be rinse and repeat next game.

‘Park the bus’ Spurs have scored 21 and have a goal difference of +12.

We’ve scored 10 and have a goal difference of -1.

I can't understand why KDB or Gundogan take every single one of them, but can't put a decent cross. Dave Silver was the same.
I really don't understand why are we like that. Even without practice, players like them should know how to take a corner, they don't need Pep to teach them to put a decent cross in.

Now, about the game.
Today was odd for me because I was expecting a reaction after he signed his extension, but now I am left, like all of you, scratching our head. Did the board talk with the squad before extending Pep? If they do not want him anymore, why did we extend him?
Agree, he is a top manager, but losing the dressing room is a battle a coach can't win.

I am worried that we lost our idea of a "team" with Vinnie living. Dave couldn't keep them together, neither did Fern.
KDB I think he is a leader, but not a leader of men. If you read that famous article about him called "Let me Talk" you can see he is a bit of a loner, more than a fella that will motivate you to spit blood.

As much as Baldie fucks ups, when Son makes a mockery with every chance he has of Laporte, or Ederson let everything in, it's really hard to win games.
We have a squad that won everything nationwide for 700+ days and they got all the praise in the world from us, but we have to be fair and agree that they are also responsible. Becoming the Fourmidables didn't mean football ended, but It meant that everybody was coming for your head and we gladly gave it to them.

Im not even shocked. Said it all week and it went exactly as expected.

Spurs just kept putting 7/8 players in the box when we had possession and then broke at pace.....so easy and obvious.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maureen classic park the bus today FACT . Maureen won’t ever go toe to toe with us this is his mindset even though this is the worst City team this decade . Nobody is saying it isn’t peps fault and I for one have slagged the cunt all match tonight . IF Maureen does win the PL ( he won’t) it will be a sad indictment on the PL and a massive turn off for many many fans !

We are broken and it is down to Pep. Kev showed his frustration when he tried to score direct from a corner. When the subs were eventually brought on played with desperation having so little time to change the game (no change in tactics though). Mahrez reminds me of a talented schoolboy who always plays for himself to be the hero but ends up being a liability 99% of the time. Players like Rodri who isn't a bad player but not very good at the job he is asked to do. In my opinion Pep isn't getting the best out of some very good players that we have

I’m done with pep now, the talent he has available and still we lose to inferior teams. Leicester you could and did predict the result if we know what is going to happen, why a guy on 20 million a year cannot is beyond me. I’m fucking sick

Its the old story though, isn't it.
Seem to just want to walk it in the net.
Reminds me of a joke they used to make about Arsenal.

It's the lack of any manner of fight that gets me at the minute. We go behind and I tend to think we aren't going to come back, or we need to dig out a win and play out a bore draw
