***City v dippers Official Match Thread***

Huge game Sunday afternoon. Win and win the game in hand v Villa and we go ahead of them on points. Early doors but psychologically gives us the advantage. Lose and we are 8 points behind albeit with the said game in hand.

The dippers aren’t the side they were last season. That said, I don’t think we are as at the races this season as we could be. Keep an eye on the full backs and don’t play a high line and we really nullify what they are about.

A game I rarely look forward to being honest. I despise them so much

Cannot stick these and their, in the main, self-entitled deluded fans. Getting closer to the other red shite in my eyes.
No idea what Pep has in mind, but win this game and we are well on the way to regaining the title

My CEO and one of our engineers (Dippers) were giving it large in our video call this afternoon until the Spud's fan chipped in with if we beat them and Spur's beat Brom they wouldn't be top of the league anymore, that shut the fuclers up Tout Suite.

We appear to be getting into our stride and it was great resting Laporte & Dias mid week. Foden to start may be, there will be at least one head scratcher in the starting 11 come Sunday afternoon.

I hope to fuck Pep doesn’t overthink this, we now have a good CB partnership, Walker is playing out of his skin, Rodri looks the part in front of the, Cancelo seems ok now, please do not mend what isn’t broke.

Massive game, I’ll barely be able to watch, don’t ‘enjoy’ these big games.

Can see us winning this with their decimated defenders but their attack is so deadly. We could really derail their early season effort with a big demoralising win.

I just hope we see us play with positivity cos we do that very well. We’ll see on Sunday.

Ederson

Walker
Dias
Laporte
Ake

Rodri
KDB
Bernardo

Foden
Jesus / Torres
Sterling

That team wins comfortably. I think he'll play Gundo though instead of Bernardo.

Can’t disagree with your team selection. Wouldn’t be surprised though to see Sterling, Torres and Jesus as the front three with Foden dropping out

That does it for me. Foden to come on with 15 left to score a worldy and demoralise the murdering thieves some more!

Good selection and reckon it'll be close to that. I'd defo have Foden starting.

I think we are going to smash them. I don't think our players are worried/scared of them like other teams who often take the lead but still don't belive they can win. Victory by two clear goals at least. Their defence is shit.

Lawro has gone for 2-0 City. Unheard of for him to predict a loss for his beloveds.

He normally sits on the 1-1 fence for this fixture.

Hopefully with no fans to goad him, Razzer might turn up against this lot.

He's not had one good game against them that I can think of?

First time in 160 games he has tipped the dippers to lose. To be fair, he rarely tips us to lose either.
