That’ll do

3 points
Clean sheet
No injuries
Minutes for Kun

Decent

GET THE FUCK IN! Three points. Sergio got some minutes. Defence looked solid, particularly Dias. Cancelo, Bernardo played well.

Weird game. Not very entertaining.

But after the previous 2 league results it was just important to get a win. Plus it gets a hard fixture out of the way against an improving Arsenal side.

That'll do nicely.

Good to see Bernie back on form.

Don't tell me we won and didn't concede because Mendy wasn't playing?

I will take that, but we were mediocre.
Same with the fucking around with the tactis, this will always will be our downfall.

if it's true unlucky, but we get injuries all the time and Liverpool have had a free couple of years without injuries

Exactly.

We've had key players out every season, but they've been extremely fortunate that none of their key players have had any real long term or constant out for a month or so injuries.

When Allison and Mane were out for just that short stretch they struggled you could see. Allison is as key and VVD is without question massive to their success and will be a big blow and boost for everyone else fighting for the title and CL.

With that defence perhaps we do not have to score three or four to win

Scrappy win that we needed.

Arsenal are better and have beaten us lately and we did well enough with so many changes and players in and out of the lineup.

Sterling, Dias and Ederson were good.

Great 3 points and a solid performance to build on . Team work rate was exceptional and defensively that’s the best we have been in a long long time . Dare I say it Dias looks a leader and commands the defence. Great stuff from City tonight .

Dias is looking like the business. No Laporte and no panic.

I know some will moan about not winning 45 - 0, but that WAS a very good win, we are and will continue to improve as games go by.

Take that all day long.

Richard Keys on BEiN, I thought he was going to explode, DeJong and Grey were saying it was a good win and didn't matter it wasn't a cricket score.

Me, a clean sheet more than happy with that, it's still point's.
