10pm curfews what a joke dont know anyone in hospitality that's got it and that's gyms, clubs, restaurants, bouncers..

Real danger of losing shitloads of fans too.

Loads already gave up due to showsec years ago and that killed the atmosphere we were building.

Refreshing to see common sense being posted on the complete disproportionate action being taken, and, the withdrawal of our freedom and liberties also the surge in mental health problems that will surely follow.
In effect the so called cure will end up being worse than the disease

Regardless of whether it is the correct action or not, I think there will be no fans until maybe April as the OP says. In fact, I am resigned to not seeing any live games this season, which will be the first time that has happened since 1976-7 when I was doing my A-Levels.

While it is bad for us, it is worse for smaller clubs. There will be no National League this year, I don't know how many of those clubs will survive. Not good for the lower league clubs in cup ties either: perhaps Fleetwood and Morecambe would have done better tonight with a crowd to get behind them

I 100% will not be watching football week in and week out this season - its shit without fans and I think I will even start playing golf on match days and just get the high lights when I'm back home - that's where I'm at.

They’re not forcing players to kneel for something they don’t understand or believe in. 100% the kneeling wouldn’t be happening if fans were allowed back in the stadium.

Football's purpose for the next 6 months is purely to distract us/give us something else to think about other than the disaster the country is going through.

Winning an empty stadia season means truly little to me. I wouldn't count it as something on par as our previous league wins. I'll be pleased if we win, I won't give it a second thought if we don't.

I've got zero interest in watching a non-city game played behind closed doors. I've watched one and that was purely to take my mind off a funeral I'd just been to. I do however like the constant stream of games now and have enjoyed listening to the games on the radio where the pipped in sound kind of works. If the season was to be stopped tomorrow it would be a crushing blow my and quite a bit of the country's morale.

If they stopped the season tomorrow would they give the tile to Liverpool because they're so ace and would probably have won it anyway?

What annoys me is the fact that this decision has big media back-up as the ratings blew up since the pandemic started.
In Romania the games (which are beyond shit) tv audience almost doubled.
