At least you now know what most of us not lucky enough to be able to get to matches have got to put up with week after week.
A very, very good win indeed against one of the better teams in the division. But for their netter we'd have been over the hills and far away before they even got a sniff of our goal. More of the same next match, please.

Take that result after what could have been. We should have kept being aggrrssive 2nd half and nearly blew it.
Mendy was weak link and i thought he'd get sent off, we were lucky he didn't. He is appallingly shit.
Kev and Raheem not 100% yet but solid performaces from Fern, Rodders, Ake, Stones, Walker.
Foden is talented but has a long way to go yet, especially in the physical department.

Haha it’s horrendous pal absolutely horrendous.
Anyway Ake superb an absolute presence and calmness something we have missed hugely in defence.
Not really here

Basically, new centre half needed, Ake or Cancelo to cover left back and taxi for Mendy, wonder who'll volunteer first to drive him to the airport?

Brilliant to get the 3 points, always a tough games there, others will drop points at Wolves.
But a few things, still worried about our general defending. Mendy had a very poor second half.
Ake did well, Stones had a good game, but we have been there before with him, so we will see.
Kyle our best defender tonight.

Mendy was ok tonight , I really wish you lot would take your fekking blinkers off.
He had a strong, muscular, fast right footed winger to look after.
On the other side Walker had a breeze.
It's the little things that made us do well tonight , the two midfielders just breaking up their play, being positive and going forward.
It really should have been 4-0 at half time.
Don't bollock Mendy , when Tin tin gets nutmegged for their goal , yes he really should know better than to try and win the ball there - just hold off.
Ah yes you Mendy complainers were too busy complaining about Mendy and missed Tin tins fkcu up there.
Mind you , it was a well taken goal.
I think the guy that slices the oranges at half time for Wolves got the Caffeine mix wrong -they imploded way too early.

I didn't, it was clear kev wasnt fit, a few misplaced passes. I thought sterling and foden had better first halves.

Indeed ,young phil faded in the second half, he must learn to pace himself . I am sure he will.
He did look very comfortable today in midfield.

There was a point in the game when Hinchcliffe states that Wolves deserved something from the game because of the stats, the same stats that proved him entirely wrong, I know we are pessimistic fucks and were worried when Wolves got hold of the ball in the 2nd half but the truth was that we had 2 thirds of the possession and 9 times more shots on target. All that and away from home, to a team who has done us in too many games of late.
We were leggy when Wolves really pressed, but we didn’t crumble and came back extremely strong. Tonight wasn’t about individual performances, good or bad, it was about really showing what a team we are.

Pep looked like somebody who didn't want any questions in his post match interview - movements imminent I'd guess

Taking into consideration player availability and it was our first game we have to be happy with that result. I am not a Mendy fan, but getting a yellow early doors for next to fuck all does not help, I also believe he was targeted by Wolves to get a sending off.
Ake will be a good signing, versatile too, he can play LB, so overall happy, but CB and LB must be a priority

I honestly did not expect much from this one. Key injuries, lack of friendlies, and the hoodoo Wolves had over us last year.
First half was exceptional. Should have been more then 2 up. Second half we were lucky not to be 3-2 down by the time they scored.
I think they expected and played on our lack of match fitness, plus our leaky last 10 mins record against them (which I had to mute Sky from constantly reminding me about). But we held firm and deservedly won the game.
As others said, teams will drop points here. A good result given our circumstances - onwards and upwards.

I see that Sky just wanted to talk about BLM and drag Micah in to it, which he happily took the bait with. Great to have someone that’s City as a pundit, just wish it wasn’t someone so thick.
