Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

This Week’s Games | 12-14 Sep 20

Football’s back ...... already!

If you’ve not seen them, the MCF.net Fantasy League can be found HERE.

With the Predictor League being found HERE. Only takes 2 minutes with a Facebook account.

Still plenty of time to join up.

Back to the games. No City this week but still plenty of interest, especially with Leeds back at Anfield. We’ll also be able to see how Arteta is getting on against the returning Fulham as well as how Everton look after bringing quite a few in. But, what about Chelsea. Huge investment in new players, will Frank be able to produce after ditching the ‘Youth’ model that he was applauded for last season.

Maybe big changes for the season to come, or will last seasons top 4 run away with it again?

Sat 12 Sep 20

Palace v Southampton 1500 hrs
Liverpool v Leeds 1730 hrs
West Ham v Newcastle 2000 hrs

Sun 13 Sep 20

West Brom v Leicester 1400 hrs
Spurs v Everton 1630 hrs

Mon 14 Sep 20

Shef Utd v Wolves 1800 hrs

Really really not motivated in any way for the start of this season . As a match going supporter feel left out and abandoned but realise many clubs are on their arse during this pandemic shit show . TV companies can fuck off they are a disgrace but brainwashing plastics and armchairs is huge business this is the fucking disgrace of a world we live in today.
Anyway all said and done if Leeds manage to get something at shit hole Anfield and break a couple of bin dippers legs and Klopp goes into meltdown it wouldn’t be a bad day to be fair .
Also going to watch Franks Chelsea very closely, he had them in good shape last season and has now spent big and strengthened the areas that needed strengthening, they could be very good this season.
Not really here

Fuck VAR

Fucking crap that we're not playing this weekend. Takes away from the thrill of a new season.

Agreed - makes no sense. And all for the Nations League, which this time round means virtually nothing. Some teams will probably even try to lose on purpose to end up in a lower tier for the next cycle, and increase their chances of a play-off spot for the next Euros.

Turned on the TV for arsenal Fulham game and felt the same. Every year I would be excited but it feels completely dead this year.

Not helped by how dire and dull both these teams look. Fulham already look like relegation contenders.

I do feel as though we should have put up a fight to stop Arteta going.

Our defensive frailties were showing, Arsenal seemed to shore it up.

At least they know how to take set pieces, hence Arteta wasn't the problem.

Not much interest in the Palace v Saints game apart from having Ings in my DT. Although, forgot it was Palace so surely they’ll get a few decisions from the ref for old Roy.

Will be on the Leeds game. Let’s hope they step up to their old reputation for being dirty bastards. Would love to see the Dippers get kicked off the field.

Thought Willian would help Arsenal with set pieces (they don't have any other great takers) and creativity and what do you know the 1st game he shows it.

Could get into top 4. We'll see.
