Sadly he is old-ish. 29.
But nevertheless, good striker.

I rate him as well but we won't- or shouldn't be in the market for a 29 year old striker. Wolves will cash in on him this summer if the rumours about interest from abroad are to be believed
I will be fcuking livid if we don't have Sergio's replacement lined up especially with losing Sane as well

Except Haaland, who is a beast, I have no idea who we can sign as a poacher.
I don't super rate that Lautaro fella. Last summer I was thinking Piatek might be someone we might need, look where he is now.

We can get 60 mil for Sane and add the rest of 140 budget and try to sign Mbappe.
But I don't think we can, he is either going to Madrid or Barcelona.

even best case if serg is out for only 4-6 wks, he'll take another 4-6 wks to find form. which means we're relying on jesus for the UCL...

Good thing Jesus has such a good scoring rate in that competition.

We beat Madrid with Jesus starting, scoring and getting us a penalty.

Yep, had a look at his scoring ratio, he scores every 108 minutes in CL.

Aguero scores every 128 minutes.

Let’s hope it’s not a Sane type of injury, looked innocuous. We know the rest!

He looked like he was carrying it from the start, didn't look fit at all.

By that logic we would drop Aguero for JG every CL match !

Overall ,Aguero pisses all over JG ..in every department IMO- we will miss him and I cannot see us winning the competition without him.

Wasn't applying any logic, just stating facts.

Sergio could not do what JG did in Madrid.Arguably the biggest stage ! Just saying.

RE replacing Sergio Aguero is simply impossible. A once in a lifetime world class striker who has given everything to MCFC .

Agreed. We won’t replace him, we’ll have to adapt without him - like we did with Yaya.

Sergio says scan revealed damage to his knee. Off to Barcelona to see Ramon Cugat. It will be very surprising if he doesn’t need surgery.

This is the most likely outcome for me IF Pep stays. Can see us adapting with Gabs in a front three though losing Sane means we are another one down. We would have to share Sergio's goals around which is no small task in the biggest games

The problem with Jesus is that he doesn't look like a world beater.
Fantastic thinking that he has great numbers, but being here for such a long time and not scoring vs Filth & criminals is really bad.

He has that "what if" vibe around him.

Is 'criminals' Liverpool? He has 3 in 3 starts against them.

Yeah, sorry, I was certain that he didn't score against them, but I remembered the one in UCL. What are the others two?
Still versus Filth the ratio stands.
