City, who are understood to have a 10% sell-on clause, will consider this a good piece of business given Sané had a year left on his contract, recently refused to sign a new deal and Bayern had hoped to pay closer to £30m.

I would have preferred he stayed but wanted to leave and we ended up getting a better fee than I thought we would.

Current Contract
Leroy Sane signed a 5 year / £23,400,000 contract with the Manchester City F.C., including an annual average salary of £4,680,000. In 2019, Sane will earn a base salary of £4,680,000, while carrying a cap hit of £4,680,000.
Super low contract, if true, but I think he had a bit more. Maybe add-ons?
I somehow understand if this is true and Bayern are offering him 15 mil more.
I wonder what was our final offer.

I thank him for what he has done for City, and he has made a real contribution to our continued success, but I am not really arsed what he does now.
I don't like his new club at all though and I wish them nothing but abject failure at every turn.

According to all reports I've read he's not eligible to play for Bayern in any comp until 20/21 season.
