There’s very little praise of City at the moment WRT our efforts towards the nations situation, which probably says a lot to how we have clamped down on how the media report on us.

Watched the game last night and wasn't surprised at just how soulless it was, not the players mind, it looked like they gave a good performance. Maybe it was just the annoying drone of Tyler as you say but without fans there it was a bit of a damp squib.

Excellent performance. Just shows what we could have done if we hadn't lost Laporte for most of the season, let alone Sane.
US coverage was fine - no Tyler.

When Luiz got sent off did Arsenal just fold? Or did they give it a good go?

If you were an arsenal fan watching that you have to be concerned. Leaves arguably their only play maker Ozil out presumably as he does not trust him to put in the effort bit what did the test of his team do - fuck all. They've followed the red shite in appeasing the fans with a well thought of former player, but they are in for lean times with that squad and no doubt auby whatever his name will be off in the summer. Not a lot of time for arsenal and their self entitled fans so long may it continue

Did you enjoy it SB? Remember, we don’t have a choice in this, we’re just along for the ride.

I’m watching as I cannot miss a game, even as an armchair (at the moment), but I have more of an interest to see how this season comes about as it seems to be more about the commercial issue of certain elements controlling the game.

I enjoyed the football. The occasion was just terrible.

Purely considering and focusing on what happened on the pitch. I thought we played really well given the 3 month break.

Games all spread out even more now purely for TV, which is understandable, but sadly can see that trend continuing even when fans back.

Good stuff was impressed again with Garcia last night. Doesn't sound like Pep fancies him in the air though judging by his comments. Bit odd considering that he played against everton and sheff utd who both like the ball in the air

Very pleased to see him up and about.

He wouldn't have played against the six-fingered cloggers anyway. He can have a nice, leisurely rest.
