The outcome of the appeal will have a big bearing on it.

While clubs will have less money to spend, they will also want to get cash in, so I think prices will be lower but there will be some very hard bargaining.

I think we may also see more movement between PL clubs. For the past couple of years, with the large TV income, no PL club, not even the small ones, has needed to sell for financial reasons; its usually being the player wanting to move to a club with more chance of trophies or higher wages. Players on huge deals might not be so keen to move now if the new club can't match or better their current deal.

1 - They haven’t enough money
2 - He is under contract and no way we sell to our nearest and arguably only rivals
3 - I would be very surprised if he himself would make the move

Mahrez was a good signing, one of our better players this season

We havent signed a huge quantity of players the last two years but they have mostly been good.

What i dont get is our obsession with paying big money for second choice right backs!

Mahrez was a good signing imo. But when you consider his price tag he should have been an excellent signing.

If our case goes bad, we are back to the morning after Crouchy fucked us over under Bobby Manc. Players want CL KDB is 29 so just my thought he will want a crack at it. This is an attempt to fuck us derail us a s claw us backwards again. Pep in his last year. We get a year ban a couple of windows of no spending we are gonna struggle to keep Top players, the money is 8n the bank for any city top earner it’s CL now.

Exactly its money players sign for. Not the prospect of winning the CL. It's over played. But no doubt whatsoever if the ban is upheld, then it will be used as an excuse at every opportunity.

The players have the money and will get more in 2 yrs in China Qatar tax free than 5 -7 yrs slog of Prem or La Liga even Zlatan the twat said it I have more money than god it’s joining the greats who won the biggest trophies that’s how you are remembered. Pep KDB Raheem have 100 plus mill each plus another 100 wherever they play. I think we get banned it’s get me outta here.

I understand those points, but if they really want the CL then they could start by winning it this August!

This forced paused of football got me watching retro games, mostly below 2000.
I swear football really was fun. Rewatched Euro 96 and World Cup 98 and I realised I still remember all the scores and groups as they were, for example, the argie gk that eliminated England in 98 one year later dropped football and joined an end of the world cult.

Looks like Chelsea are gonna sign Werner. Really like the look of him. Would’ve been a very decent signing at our end
