PL Season to be suspended

I think the EPL needs to make terms and accept that Liverpool won’t win the league.

Nature does not want them to win.

This is probably the main reason why the PL has not taken decisive action to cancel the whole darn thing yet - they don't want to upset the liver fucking pool fanbase. It has to happen.

Liverpool will get to play five games over the space of the next five days. Behind closed doors, no var or tv showing them. Any teams that cannot field a full team of 11 will just have to play with what they can.

They will then award Arsenal and Burnley default 3-0 wins as we didn’t fulfil the fixtures

I agree, and then the problems for the powers that be of football begin, what will they do, finish off this season later, cancel it call it null and void?
These are huge decisions, I would go for the null and void option, pity that would mean no title fot our friends on merseyside I mean that would be cruel.

Yes and that could cause some serious financial problems for lower league clubs that are just about keeping going on regular match day revenue.

Just scrap the season. Aim to start fresh in August when hopefully its well under control. Make the decision now and let everyone have long term clarity.

Interesting point made in Mail sport column, it refers to player fitness eg, players cannot be isolated and train, so after the suspension of football players need 14 day’s training to get match fit again. The whole integrity of the competition is now in question.
The only sensible outcome is to declare the league null and void, and hopefully start again in August.
