Seems a difficult game but we have a fairly good track record with Leicester of late. There was far more pressure on us last season when Vinnie smashed that goal in and with players coming back this could be a springboard for the PL season.

MATCH FACTS

Head-to-head

Manchester City have won four of the past five Premier League meetings.

Vincent Kompany's final goal for Manchester City was enough to win the most recent encounter in May but Leicester won when the teams met last December.

Manchester City

Manchester City had lost just once after 17 games in 2018-19 but have suffered four defeats so far in this league campaign.

They haven't lost consecutive home league games since February 2016 under Manuel Pellegrini.

Pep Guardiola has never lost back-to-back top-flight home fixtures as a manager.

Kevin De Bruyne has nine assists in this season's Premier League, more than any other player. He's been involved in 15 goals, second only to Leicester's Jamie Vardy.

De Bruyne has been directly involved in 19 goals in the Premier League in 2019 (seven goals and 12 assists), the most of any midfielder this year.

Sergio Aguero has scored five goals in his five home Premier League games against Leicester, with four of those goals coming in one half - when Manchester City won 5-1 in February 2018.

Leicester City

Leicester have their best record after 17 matches of a league season, with 39 points.

The Foxes have won their last four away from home, scoring 17 goals and conceding just one. They have never won five consecutive away games in the top flight.

Leicester's goal difference of +29 is the best in the Premier League.

If the Premier League was measured on second-half performance only, Leicester would be top and five points clear of Liverpool.

Leicester have kept seven an unrivalled seven clean sheets in this season's Premier League.

They have won all nine league games in which they scored first this season.

Jamie Vardy has 28 Premier League goals in 2019, five more than any other player.

I hate Leicester. Shitty fans. Gypo players. Manager that likes fingers up his bum. Munich keeper.
Always up their game when playing us. Last season they didn't have a dog in the fight and whacked 11 men behind the ball to try and stop us winning the league.

Anybody a little worried about their counter attack? Surely they’ll try to emulate Wolves.

Very worried about Vardy. Maddison as well is a very tasty player

Vardie's pace...

At 32 y.o.

Odd or unusual?

Shearer retired from England at 29 citing lack of pace as problem.

Bad feeling about this

We'll use plan A.

If that fails there's always plan A

And then.........

I don't think it's Vardy's pace, it's more his tenacity and determination. He's a shit Carlos Tevez and that worries me with our defence.

If Vardy comes off the last man and scores I’ll scream.

Aguero On bench, could be useful if Jesus is not doing the business, would have liked to have seen Rodri, but otherwise as expected.

I like that team.

I like vardy as a footballer, id of taken him three years ago for us. Too old now although he would be more dangerous than jesus.

Foden definitely deserves to be dropped. He was awful last time we played in the league. Mahrez a better option..
