There Could Be Unexpected Consequences for Failure This Seas

I don’t think any of us thought our form would fall off a Cliff the way it has done this season.

Admittedly injuries have not helped us.

It does not tell the whole story. Right now we look unfit, we as a team look mostly disinterested, our manager looks disinterested, and we are being managed very badly through this injury crisis.

We carry on as we are, then in my opinion Top 4 is not a forgone conclusion.

We are a side in transition there is no denying that. We should be seeing more of Fodden ,Garcia being phased in to the Team. We are not.

There are no postives,Pep has never been a manager for bringing youth through the ranks at any of the Clubs he has managed. He has always been a go out and spend manager.

Our side now needs an unprecedented overhaul in all areas. We need 3 Centre Half’s, we need a right Back, and Left Back, we need another Striker possibly 2 of them.

We simply can not go out and spend 500 Million on the Squad FFP has ended that.

Also, would we as a Club heavily finance a manager who is looking for just a 12/18 month contract extension.

Would we fans be happy Pep overseeing it if he is going 1 year later based on the quality of his signings thus far.

His success has been mostly of the back of established players he inherited when he got here. Now those players are ageing and moving on we are seeing how shit Pep signings really are. Remember Pep signed a player in Gundogan with 2 fucked Knees at the time. Mahrez we didn’t need Full backs that can not defend. Only La Porte has been stand out.

What ever happens this Season Pep gets a free pass for delivering unprecedented success the last 2 Seasons.

I am not sure I want to see Pep oversee the massive re-build needed if he doesn’t plan on being around long.

Club hierarchy might feel the same way. They also might feel there are managers out there than can utilize our up and coming Academy prospects and mould them around Stellar signings, halfing expenditure.

We might actually be happy to let him go.

So i take it you dont agree with anything i have wrote ?

No one is denying that Pep has delivered us unprecedented success..I for one will be eternally grateful.

The reality is though his success has come on the back of some of the best players to grace the Premier League in Vinny and,David Silva.

We are unlikely to see many Academy prospects come through the ranks under Pep.This at at a time we could do with blooding them.Pep is the very definition of a Cheque book manager he always has been, and always will be.We lost Sancho, next will be Fodden,

FFP has changed the game for good.

Bad planning at the Club means we are facing not only a period of transition but a major Squad overhaul.

Look at our defense, hundreds of millions spent on players worse than the ones we have let go.Could our Kids be any worse i think not.

That Derby was screaming FODDEN FODDEN,it needed his energy what does Pep do at 2-1 down bring on a defensive Mid.

I am not the only one concerned.

So after another VAR infected defeat last weekend and a long rant about unexpected consequences of failure this season. Are we any wiser this weekend ?

We know that the youngsters can handle the pressure in the CL .The cheats that the Croats are in their games.
We are still in with a chance of 4 major trophies and injured players are coming back.

So all is not too bad .
A league cup semi final against Scouse2 would be brilliant and slam more pressure on them to explode.

We know that Silva is fading at 32 , but Scouse have just given Milner - "That traitor to the cause" a two year extension and Klipperty signs to 2024. Brilliant, when it all goes wrong and they have to get rid.

A long way to go yet and a lot still to play for.

Quite right Zurich fella. We need to calm down a bit. Winning every week has made everyone - especially me - more depressed when we lose now.

We might still win a game or 2

I think losing this season might have the opposite effect many think seem to think. The press are circling Pep like vultures and I wouldn’t be shocked if he comes back with a vengeance. He didn’t back down after season one here was a flop and now there’s a line to shovel dirt on his grave I wouldn’t be shocked if there’s a war room assembled behind the scenes this off season.

I agree with this. I think it is already being assembled, Lee.

There are posters who spend every match slagging off Pep and will eventually drive him away, together with the stuff from the dipper media

They will only be happy when he walks

Boo hoo boo ,,, if a 20 million pound a year manager wants to walk away from our club because of the above then he can fuck off and we will replace him with someone that has a bigger pair of balls !

In your little bubble he should be beyond a slagging off no matter how many times he sticks Fernandinho at CB !!!

Grow a pair ffs !

Your constant armchair digs are tiresome , repetitive and boring - I’ve pointed out to you I’ll spend more on one fucking trip to England to watch City than you will on your fucking season ticket .

I’m not alone either as there are 100s if not thousands of fucking armchair supporters like me who pay even
more than I do for one trip a year to see City play .

Absorb that fact before you slate armchair fans like me off in every one of your fucking posts !
