MATCH FACTS

Head-to-head

Crystal Palace have taken four points from their last three league games against Manchester City.

However, the Eagles are winless in four home league meetings (D1, L3).

Crystal Palace

Palace's only defeat in their past eight home league games was 3-1 by City in last season's corresponding fixture.

They have accrued 44 points so far in 2019, a tally bettered only by Manchester City, Liverpool (both 67) and Arsenal (47).

Crystal Palace's total of 14 points is their second highest after eight Premier League matches - they had 15 under Alan Pardew in 2015-16.

The Eagles have recorded at least one victory over the reigning Premier League champions in four of the past five seasons.

They have kept clean sheets in three of their four league matches at Selhurst Park this term.

Since their promotion in 2013, Palace have won an unrivalled 47 penalties in the top flight.

Manchester City

Manchester City have lost two of their past four league games, as many as in their previous 24 matches.

They have won 10 of their last 11 away matches in the division.

City have scored in 15 successive away league fixtures, including two goals or more in each of the last four.

They have scored 27 league goals this season, seven more than any other side prior to the weekend.

Sergio Aguero has played in six Premier League games at Selhurst Park and never scored.

Kevin De Bruyne has provided eight league assists this season, twice as many as any other player.

How we’re lining up at Selhurst Park

XI | Ederson, Cancelo, Fernandinho, Rodrigo, Mendy, Gundogan, Silva (C), De Bruyne, Bernardo, Sterling, Jesus

Subs | Bravo, Stones, Aguero, Angelino, Mahrez, Foden, E Garcia

Could be 3 at the back with Rodri sitting in front. Hopefully De Bruyne will keep the ball for the entire 90.

Wild lineup!

3 at the back

Otamendi sealed his fate. Can see why.

Mendy back very quickly after training. Stones not trusted for 90 yet. We’re down to bare bones. Rodri’s perfectly capable of playing CB but no dm is a worry.

Three at back would be suicidal, Mendy coming back from injury who wasnt looking great before he got injured and Cancelo iirc this is his first start?

I think Baldie is more focused on the Catalonia problem than our defensive set up.

That defensive lineup is fucking horrendous !!!
