strong line up

Pep means business it seems. As I alluded to earlier in the thread, I'd personally have liked to have seen a couple of the Academy lads in, Tosin and Foden, but this is a strong line up so hopefully if we get a couple of girls to the good, maybe they'll be brought on?

Get a couple of girls to the good and we'll be having players sent off.

I know. Predictive texting. ;)

A couple of girls to the good and the result tonight is irrelevant.

agreed. foden or diaz should be in for jesus. but im happy that kdb is not even on the bench.

We need an out and out striker imo and gab was taken off early sat so happy with that.

Assume delph left back in a back four with yaya ilkay and b silva in middle and sterling sane jesus up top?

Just wondering that myself. I reckon Delph and Danilo as full backs. Yaya sat deep with Gundogan as a box to box midfielder, helping out Yaya but also having the legs and lungs to support Silva and the front three.

Could be completely wrong though

I'm not bothered at all about the kids not playing when we have so many 1st team players who could use more minutes to sharpen up. And it will be these 1st team players who we'll need later in the season when injuries happen and people are fatigued to pull us through.

I understand the obsession with kids when we didn't have as much depth (Fernando and such), but we got some seriously good players who need game time

Literally no point in Tosin signing a new contract!

Give me the contract then, I'll sign! Always a point in getting paid more money for an extended period of time
