I cant believe given is even in this conversation. Guys glued to his line couldnt catch a cold. Hart did more in the season we won the fa cup than given did in his whole time here.

Can't believe the stick given is getting

Compare the teams they played in.

I was always confident with James and given, Hart early on.

But remember Kasper played well the first few games before he got dropped for his first non clean sheet (maybe away at Fulham when he was a nightmare at crosses?)

Hart had Barry deJong Vinnie lescott.

Close maybe.

Eike Immel seems to have slipped under the radar in this particular thread.

Very puzzling indeed..........

I was going to say that, but couldn't remember his name.

Certainly our best keeper away to spuds in the last 30 years, even including the Hart blinder a few years back.

Impossible to look beyond Hart in view of his achievements and personal accolades, even if he did have an organised defence ahead of him. Same can be said about Schmeichel at the rags but 'apparently' he was one of the best ever, despite also being primarily a shot stopper like hart.

Having had James, Schmeichel and Given in the twilight of their careers we have been blessed to have had some fucking good keepers in just the last 15 years.
