He was mine and everyone else in the house too. He's fucking rapid and can defend.

Fare one mate, I'm here on my jack abusing my mates 300 inch.

Looked good, settled in really well and showed us what he has.

300 inch!? That'll be an entertaining evening! But he should probably see a Dr and sort that shit out.

Is your mate a porn star or a world record pizza maker?

I'll say pizza maker.

Very good result without thrilling us. Good to see an attacking threat from right back again, it's been way too long since Zabba was in his pomp.

First game and a cheeky little yellow for an accidental handball and a blatant penalty not given despite the ref standing 10 yards away with a clear view. But Pep has set us up to be ref-proof this season and these bent fucking officials are going to have to start defending and attacking for the opposition to stop us. Up the blues!

Great start and we look very compact , efficient and dare I say it .............. much more solid and fluid at the back . A couple of missed clear opportunities again frustrating we really have to be more clinical !

Over the tweet . They say he was having a go at the keeper . I'd ave thought it was a bit of fun at the defenders expense if anything ,

Gerrard can't slag City so let's look at slagging something else . Never have liked the

Not sure why the pundits arei so offended. It's just a bit of bants. It's not like Mendy has gone to a bar surrounded by 6 mates and punched somebody.

Yea only 93.1%. It's understandable he would be a bit rusty for the first game.

Has there ever been a bigger possession stat than yesterday? Over 78% is immense but I cannot fathom how we give so many fouls. 9 fouls to their 6 and 2 yellow cards to boot. That's also an immense stat, in the wrong way, a yellow for every 4 fouls.

So the officiating has begun in the same vein as last season.

Very good performance. Our pressing made them look worse. We looked very comfortable with a back 3.

We still need one or two signings more. Danilo doesn't seem to be comfortable on his left so, a left back and another goal scorer and our squad should be ready.
