At the same time, let's say you're right for the sake of the argument: do we, generally speaking, need more passes when we're struggling?

Yes.

Eh... ok. I guess we just agree to disagree.

Wednesday have always been a bit of a problem team for Town so it won't be easy - I think they would have preferred any of the others.

Small chance they can take 4th place still. But looks like if results stand today, we'll be in the CL

He has saved us on plenty of occasions with brilliant solo efforts created from nothing when we're playing bad. But as a rule of thumb, I think it's counter productive to stop passing when we're not playing well. We need to keep trying until we find our game again (or buy Felaini and throw long balls towards the box).

KDB now has 16 assists. A City record in the PL. Silva with 15 is second and Quinn is actually in third with 11 in '92/93

If we score one or two more, we're pretty much guaranteed a top 4 finish even if Arsenal win tonight.

I understand what you're saying but we never stop passing. Our problem this season has not been a lack of passing. Especially sideways passing.

But again, that's straying from the argument. We're I'll give you that you're right is that his solo runs don't come off half as much as they used to because he slower and yes, it would have been more productive to pass or try something else rather than run into defenders and give the ball away. But again, it's not lke he's not passing and it's not like it's his trademark move to stop passing. I'd say most players with the capability tries going on their own or something similar when the teamwork is waning and people are mostly standing still and waiting for someone else to do something.

So much winning possession back immediately tonight high up the pitch, something that's been missing in so many games this season for us
