PL games, 25-27 February

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

PL games, 25-27 February

Postby Justified logic » Fri Feb 24, 2017 7:48 pm

Saturday 25th February 2017
Chelsea V Swansea City
Crystal Palace V Middlesbrough
Everton V Sunderland
Hull City V Burnley
West Bromwich Albion V Bournemouth
Watford V West Ham United

Sunday 26th February 2017
Tottenham Hotspur V Stoke City

Monday 27th February 2017
Leicester City V Liverpool

- - - - -

Hopefully a revitalised Swansea, the Stokies and a rebounding Leicester can do us favours this weekend.

Draws all round would suit me. Win our postponed game against the filth and beat Chelsea and we'd be only 3 points behind Chelsea but with a poorer GD - unless we smash them something like 0-5! - with 11 other games to play. A guy can dream can't he?

Good call NB.

The Scum richly deserve all the difficulties that are thrown their way, after all the refereeing decisions they've had this season in particular.

Down in the basement and amongst the dead and dying, if Palace beat Middlesborough, which they could just about manage to do and Leicester get hammered by the Dippers (or 'Livelypoo' as JustifiedLogic has appropriately termed them), which should happen one would think, the Champions will be in the bottom three and continuing their downward spiral.

Where's Nigel Pearson when you need him ??

Still not been confirmed, but considering the number of European matchdays, (potential) FA Cup replay slots and the international break coming up, in addition to the advance notice required for policing of the game and TV scheduling, there's relatively few midweek slots it can be played in.

Whichever date suits the Rags and fucks us up the most. I can even see them figuring it in before the last game of the season.

This.

Imagine the PR around that game. GAME OF THE YEAR, HIGH STAKES, MATCH OF THE SEASON.

Piss poor.

Without a shadow of doubt. Hopefully by then we've secured our CL slot and their defeat at our place means they cannot get fourth

Only to be expected. The story of this weekend will be all about how City have slipped back, even without us playing!

I'm even sure they'll get a story how the Rags have gained, somehow!

I'm patiently waiting for Chelsea to go through a bad patch and, hopefully, implode but they seem to just seem to go plodding onwards.

I'd like to know how it is that Costa never seems to get injured and miss a number of games. That Doctor Eva must have been pretty poor at her job because, since she left, they seem to have all their players fit every week

Palace are leading 1-0; at this point in time, Leicester are now in the bottom three.

Monday night's game could be a very nervous affair for them and their fans.
