Is it only Sterling who will miss the return leg?

At Arsenal we cry about injustice. A goal kick that might have been a corner leading to Bayerns second which, obviously, led to them getting the 3rd, 4th and 5th goals too. *rolls eyeballs*

If you guys can surmount a challenge in the EPL too, it'd make my day.

Sorry to deviate from the match thread. Well done again guys :thumbs up:

Apparently Sterling wasn't booked. Commentators said the 4th official confirmed it at half time.

But it clearly seemed he was booked in the first half.

Although the officials didn't seem to get much right tonight. 10 cards in a game with few bad challenges.

I tend to agree. I can't believe a yellow for Aguero rather than red for their goalie.

BT confirmed that Sterling wasn't booked - it was incorrect information from the fourth official which led everyone to think that he had - so Sterling is available for the second leg.

A huge impact on the game mate. The players responded excellently but should they have had to?

That penalty decision confirmed my suspicions about how bent these league's are. Everything was clear until an outside agent called the officials to what can only be described as a falling over without contact. They then had to somehow weave that into the play and call a penalty. After the Aguero debacle that was nothing less than an insult to football, we're now left with no doubt about what goes on behind the scenes.

The ref must've thought his integrity was really at stake following all that and had no choice but to go mad with the cards, even though warranted.

Through Adversity ( Per Ardua), that should be our new motto.

This game will go into the hall of fame of our club.

UCL still is a bent competition and we all saw what happend tonight. In Monaco will be hell from the first minute. The refs will hunt us down from the start.

That being said, I am really proud of the boys.

Aguero was mediocre today. Mediocre and scored twice, played a huge part on two of the goals and was denied a penalty. If he is not the best striker in the world, then something really is wrong with this world.

They said he did but confirmed he want at halftime.

Oh look, the Rag and Scouse bastards seem very disinterested in the aftermatch. Subnet very upbeat though.
