What annoys me is that they've had no game time but then expected to be up for it from the start.

Agreed. It is always difficult to have any cohesion with rusty players, who don't play together regularly.

If you get paid as much as they do (and have been a professional for years) with a whole team of fitness coaches and nutritionists, there's no excuse. You're a pro, do your job.

Oh and good to see we're resting Kolarov for Tuesday...

It's all about opinion mate, not on how much you're paid.

Getting paid more doesn't make you more ready, but it does take any sympathy or excuses away. Just like if you pay a contractor 3x the normal rate, they have no excuses if they don't get the job done

If you pay a contractor 3x the rate, you get 3 times the player.

Introducing them at 70 mins is not going to add too much to the game, takes them 10 minutes to get into the game.

Got what we deserved with that team. Showed glimpses but you can't just throw a team together like that and expect to win against that kind of team.

Anyway, at least we get a home game in the FACup.

Can't argue with the result.

Huddersfield battled well and pushed forward when they could. Whitehead was excellent for them - cut everything out in the middle.

Our starting line-up didn't need to be so defensive. If it was slightly more attacking-minded we could have won the game.

An extra fixture isn't ideal.

A good display of how difficult it's going to be shipping out some of those players. Simply not good enough some of them.

At least we didn't get beat, that's the main thing.

Whitehead was just a massive fod roaming the pitch. He should be banned for having a head like that.

Wow how far off are our fringe players! Navas delph fernando nolito etc nowhere near good enough when they all play together.
