OK Chelsea, start looking over your shoulder.

City are on the hunting trail and coming after you.

Be afraid, be very afraid. :D :D

Very happy with that. Bournemouth played very well and made it a hard fought 3 points.
Thought Stones was excellent.

Remember last year and Kompany's hunting season remarks?

But you are right. We are suddenly second and are starting to hit our straps. The game at Stamford Bridge could be a belter

True.
Which is why I said I felt better with Fern being pushed out to midfield.

We looked really comfortable in the end.
Silva was majestic. We were unlucky not to score a few more.

I didn't feel like we were going to drop a bollock. We took control and didn't look like letting go.

A special mention for Willy, who I think has given the back line a bit of needed confidence.

Great win.
A spoonful of pressure added to the mix for Chelsea.

Both Stones and Kolarov played well. Caballero also played well and a couple of important saves as well. As Hannibal once said, "I love it when a plan comes together"

And a clean sheet too, it's no secret that having a solid back line and a decent keeper allows the midfield push more helping out the front line. Our defence is still far from being where it should be but my god it's better than a couple of months ago with bloody bravo.

Watching the replay of the second goal for the umpteenth time and I still can't see how that goal isn't awarded to Sergio

I liked the way Bournemouth played tonight, hope they manage to avoid the drop. A lot like Swansea last week, they may not have the players we do but their workrate was insane and they tried to play football rather than sitting in their own box and punting long balls.

it's the goal decision that stops him getting the golden boot as we march on to win the league.

This is the thing - if the team has confidence in the goalie then they can play expansively.

Silva was amazing. He's our Pirlo. He'll get even better in his wonderful Autumn years.
