Not a bad 2nd string apart from the clown in goal .

Happy to see Garcia and Nacho, but not convinced by that lineup.

Navas yes but I don't think he'll totally change style. I fancy Sterling or Sane will start on the other wing. Nolito, being rather pedestrian, may be inside near Aguero. If Nacho starts I fancy it will be absolutely last chance saloon.

But who knows with Pep, we've got 2 very different teams named above.

I'd expect us to struggle with that eleven. There's no creativity at all in that line up.

You're right on the money there, I think Yaya will have to be launched to provide some but in a very similar team though.

I think we'll see more or less a first choice XI.

We've two games in three days and then a 12 day break before we go to Sunderland.

No chance, but thanks for posting that - I was beginning to think there was a nuclear incident which had miraculously spared Stockport

Why no chance? We've gone more or less full strength in our precious 2 FA cup games.

Realistically, this is our best shot at a trophy. I think that's fair. I want the best team regardless.

I do too.

The bigger teams that have gone out have done so because they fannied about with their starting XI.

Caballero

Sagna - Kompany - Stones - Clichy

Fernandinho - Silva - de Bruyne

Sterling - Aguero - Sane

Maybe I'd think about Yaya for Silva, but probably not.

Fair point but if you go back to the Barca game in group stage you'll see more or less the same XI starting away to Baggies in the league as against Barca a few days later.

I think continuity is important atm to keep the momentum going.

Hope you're right, it's time we had our name engraved on the FA Cup again, particularly after our last Spafia sabotaged final.

Don't fuck about City.
That suggested team is fucking rubbish and would get smashed up. Get the game won with a proper team. It's then only a game from Wembley.

+1

We have seen time and again what chopping and changing a side in cup competitions can do. Full strength please for my money. Can always take the foot off the gas if we are winning second half. Anyway, how tiring is it to pass the ball about like we did at Bournemouth to see out the game?

Pep takes cups seriously and we looked very good last time out. I think we'll see full strength side. As others have said, best shot at a trophy.

A few big guns. I can see Sergio getting a run out for 20-30. I'd prefer our best 11 but with Monaco on Tuesday that may not happen
