Anyone remember when Stuart brennan posted on here? I really think he was persuaded about the anti MCFC "agenda" (i don't like that word).

For a non city fan he now does a he'll of a lot of defending our club.

They will be more than aware. City fans on twitter have been sending it over.

Stuart Brendan has done it himself. He tagged the FA, CITY and United in his tweet to the article

He goes further in our defence than even I would. God bless him.

He didn't used to. Got called out on here if I remember and he signed up to justify his stance. Since then he's been very pro city.

Yeh he used to stick the boot in and people on here called him out on it. The last few years though he's been very very fair.

I'm still glad Sagna apologised rather than said it was a mistake. He's not retracted the original assertion but just said he should've taken a second to not get himself in trouble.

Will the media read it like that?

Fined £40,000 for saying what we all were thinking for years. Club could do a bucket appeal at the weekend to fund it cause it needed saying.

The big problem is that you have to be so careful going against any institution that has a huge propaganda machine behind it and the club are very aware of this.

I firmly believe this is the reason they have tried the nicely nicely approach up until now, but it is a head scratcher as to how to fight it without being painted as the paranoid club who are crying because they're not winning everything.
It's so easy to report it that way and we've seen it every week whenever pundits get together or whenever a game is being commentated.

Everyone already hates us because of both the job the media did and the fact we came in to break up the cosy club, so perhaps just taking them all head on and letting them hate us a little bit more is the way forward.

Although I'm not sure that's the image the good Sheikh wanted when he took over.

Where's the encouragement to be honest and admit mistakes if the punishment is as exessive as this? Their verdict relied completely on Sagna's admission of guilt.

OD, football is full to the brim with degenerates. From the boardrooms of the clubs and the authorities to the media and the players. We should treat them all with utter contempt but we don't.
