I know exactly what we are up against...........a corrupt referee who will do all he can to make sure we get nothing from this game from the very first whistle.

Once again , this is my only concern. A level playing field at Scamfield ? no chance.

I dont know why, and even though I'm expecting nothing, after looking at our last few games I'm getting a good feeling about this one.

I hope I don't put a jinx on our performance by saying this and there's no sound basis for feeling this way, but I'm in the same boat as you on this one Beefy.

On paper, everything seems set against us but football games aren't played on paper and it's just like City to pull it off, after all and sundry - especially in the media - don't want us to even have a dog's chance.

We might even keep a clean sheet !!!!

I get it that we haven't won there for out whole existence. I also get that they can prey upon our defensive realities, but what have we got to counter?

3 wins, last one away from home. Hull tried to press us like Dippers will do and although not as good at it, the lads were tested and came through. Yes, it could be difficult, but what game isn't. They have the home advantage, we have the element of putting pressure on as they will be wholehearted favourites.

We can do it, and I actually feel we will.

The only ground since the takeover that we've yet to win at. That record has to go.

As has been mentioned , the bin dipping thieving cunts will come at us 1000 miles per hour , that's their game plan and only game plan.

We didnt learn from this the last time round , lets hope the penny finally dropped and PeP has a plan.

'Hoofing' one or two of the Dipper players, at the start of the game, into the legendary 'Row Z', wouldn't go amiss.

We will have a player sent off so we might as well make sure its a worthy red.

We've had seven clean sheets in all comps this season, Stones has played in 6 of them 7 and started 4 of them.

Our midfield is far superior to Liverpuddle's so we've got to use our quality in this area to completely control the game.

Really fear for bravo in this one. They will signal him out as a major weakness. I hope we give him the protection he will need. If he buckles in this one it could be the end of him.....

Or it could be the game where he shows why he is where he is. Here's hoping.

I noticed that during the Arsenal and Burnley games that we didn't fuck about with it and hoofed when we came under pressure but then came the Hull game where, even though we didn't get caught out, we started to piss about and put us under pressure.

Pep's being very pragmatic and I'm hoping he tells the guys to hoof it when necessary.

At least with Stones out we can keep a settled back line.

Our 3 options at centre back are all shit but it's better for us to try and keep the same defence for a run of games so they can get used to playing together, particularly with Bravo.

This is a game for a no nonsense approach. Too much flaffing around at the back and they will be on him like flies on shit. Get the ball out quickly and directly if neccessary.
